Thanksgiving was only two days ago and I bet you are already tired of seeing holiday gift guides…. am I right? Sorry guys I have still been working on one and I think you’ll love everything as much as I do! In honor of Small business Saturdays, do yourself a favor and check out this adorable boutique in the heart of Charlotte. City Art Works in Park Towne Center at the corner of Park Road & Woodlawn.
The best way to describe this adorable store is Anthropologie meets Paper Skyscraper. It’s beautiful, whimsical and filled with beautiful gifts for your favorite people on your holiday shopping list. I’m not a wrapper. I fully intend each year to wrap beautiful, elaborate looking presents and guess what? I don’t and I have a closet full of wrapping paper and ribbon to prove it.
At City Art Works, they have free wrapping and it looks like you had Martha Stewart herself bundling up your packages. Here are a few of my favorite things that my girlfriends, sister, cousin or mother-in-law would adore.
Girlfriends Gift Guide at City Art Works:
(1) Illume Candles & Diffusers
When you walk into City Art Works, it smells like the holidays. It gets me in the Christmas spirit and that’s how I want to feel this time of year. The Balsam & Cedar is my personal favorite.
(2) Jewelry
The jewelry is not only beautiful to wear, they also carry a beautiful message. Just looking through all of them to find the perfect one for your best friend is fun!
Also, they carry these sets of bracelets in silver and gold that can be worn by themselves or layers with some of their stunning cuffs.
(3) Hats, Handwarmers & Gloves
This is just a fraction of all of the beautiful hats, gloves and hand warmers available at City Art Works. They are all well-made and perfect for keeping you warm and cozy in the fall and winter months.
(4) Books
From cookbooks to novels to entertaining coffee table books, they have a huge selection of great (and pretty!) books to help you check people off your list. I, personally, can never have enough cookbooks. I can’t wait to try some of the recipes in the ones I found there.
(5) Paper Products
From colorful prints to beautiful wall calendars, you are bound to fall in love with all of the cheerful paper products. Keeping your busy schedule written on a pretty calendar makes you want to stay organized, right? I love having drawings or maps of some of my favorite cities from around the world to remind me of my travels while I’m at home.
With any luck you find some beautifully wrapped presents from Susan and everyone at City Art Works under your tree!
Happy Shopping and remember to Support Small!!
