Living in Charlotte, NC there is a lot to do and we are lucky to have so much opportunity surrounding us when it comes to incredible restaurants and shopping. SouthPark is the largest shopping center between Washington D.C. and Atlanta and they have everything our family needed (and wanted) to get ready for the holidays!
I partnered with SouthPark to create this content and I am receiving compensation for this post. All opinions and content are my own. Thank you for supporting brands and businesses that support The Style Hostess and Happy Holidays!
As soon as the Christmas season arrived I headed to SouthPark for some new holiday home decor (because what better excuse for new decorations than a new house!) as well as outfits for all of my holiday outings, gifts for my friends and family, and, of course, taking our family to see the big guy himself, Santa Claus.
When it comes to holiday decorations, I love mixing our family’s traditional pieces in with something new! I headed straight to SouthPark to Arhaus, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel and Ballard Designs for chic and festive décor that worked great with our new house! From the beautiful winter floral arrangements at Pottery Barn to the festive ornaments at Arhaus and the unique and beautiful wreaths at Ballard Designs, I was able to find so many great pieces! I use a lot of fresh garland around our house during the holidays in addition to bows and holly berries, so it was super fun to pick out glittery, gold and sparkly decorations at SouthPark to pair with my more natural decor. Doing the mixture of the two of them really ends up balancing really well and makes our home look especially merry!
Up next on our family’s to-do list was a visit with Santa Claus and dinner at The Cheesecake Factory! I love keeping the Christmas magic going with my kids and taking them to see Santa has always been a tradition of ours (plus, the Santa at SouthPark is the real deal). We decided to make a family night out of it and go take a walk around SouthPark to admire the decorations, pay a visit to Santa and tell him what we wanted for Christmas, and then we headed to The Cheesecake Factory for some delicious dinner together! Sitting down for a family dinner was the perfect ending to our first official holiday family outing of the season. Hungry guests at SouthPark have a ton of options and can take a break during their holiday shopping trip for a bite to eat at one of SouthPark’s many restaurants, including The Cheesecake Factory, Bulla Gastrobar, The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, Reid’s Fine Foods & Wine Bar and more.
Families can continue getting their photo taken with Santa Claus from now until December 24 (as you know…Santa will be pretty busy that night!) You can even make appointments online to skip the line and purchase your photos ahead of time – ideal especially for those with small children!
It’s no surprise that I love fashion (and obviously you know that if you are here reading my blog,) so I was really excited to head to SouthPark to go shopping for my holiday event attire! From tree trimming gatherings to cookie exchanges and cocktail parties, I needed the perfect outfit for each! Two of my absolute favorite SouthPark stores that I shop at all year long are Anthropologie and Nordstrom so that’s where I was headed to get a handful of different outfits for whatever the Christmas season throws my way! Check out some of my favorite holidays looks below!
Once I got the holiday home decorations picked out, had some quality time with Santa and my family and picked out my perfect holiday apparel there was just one last thing…presents! Luckily, SouthPark is home to a list of stores that are sought-after brands, including Burberry, Lilly Pulitzer, Louis Vuitton, Trina Turk, Neiman Marcus, Peloton, Nordstrom, Tory Burch, kate spade, Tommy John, Tiffany & Co. and more!
When it came to gift shopping for my family and friends I knew exactly where to go at SouthPark! I headed to the LEGO store and American Girl for the kids; Tinder Box and the Apple store for Allen; Pottery Barn for my in-laws and Anthropologie, Sephora and Crate & Barrel for my sister, cousins, and besties. One day at SouthPark and I felt like I finally got everyone covered on my list!
As Christmas approaches and the holiday season winds down that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Winter Wonderland at Symphony Park will be running until January 20th so even after Christmas you can enjoy the outdoor skating rink and live music!
As always, thank you for reading! I hope you got some inspiration on decor, outfits, gifts and more. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
