Halloween is over and, while I still love Thanksgiving, I’m ready to get my house ready for Christmas. There are so many ways to decorate for the holidays… it’s not just basic red and green any more, people. There are different themes and colors and any thing goes nowadays! You can even decorate each room in your house in a different if you like. I, personally, choose my decorations around the color scene in each room. For example, our family room if full of gray, white and hot pink. The ribbon for our wreaths and garland on the mantle is red and hot pink velvet ribbon tied together. We have touches of gold all around so gold Christmas accents work in that room too. Hollins’ room is in the “boho” family so we use similar items in her room during the Christmas season.
I’ve rounded up some fun holiday decor that will be divided out by color and theme. If you love the trend of all white/neutral with a little bit of boho, these Christmas decorations will be perfect for you. And of course, add your fresh greenery through out!
Here are some photos for inspiration!
Trees
We have so many trees to decorate with right now but I might have to add a couple more because these are so good! Simply tuck them into any sad corner of your house and boom… Christmas spirit.
Wreaths + Garland
Wreaths can pretty much go on any door or window in your home. These ones I love range in price from $39.99 to $169. And of course you can’t go wrong with fresh greenery wreaths either!
At the holidays, garland is not just for your mantle. You can run it down the center of your table, hang it on your stair railing, on the headboard or footboard of your bed… really any place that needs to be a bit more festive.
